Gardens and homes,
made properly.
Envisage design, build and maintain across the whole property — award-standard gardens outside, and the building work that opens onto them.
A garden is the largest room you own. We treat it that way — and we build the rest of the house too.
Most projects need a landscaper and a builder, and most homeowners end up managing both. We run the two disciplines in-house, so levels, drainage, thresholds and finishes line up first time.
That means one contractor, one written quote, one site manager, and no gap between where the extension ends and the terrace begins. From first sketch to final planting, you deal with us.
How we work →Gardens &
Landscaping
Full garden design and hard landscaping — terraces, structures, planting, lighting and water. Built to hold up through a Gower winter.

Renovations
Extensions, new builds and full refurbishments, through to the kitchen, the bathroom and the last coat of paint.
Explore building →The garden shouldn't stop at sunset.
Every scheme we design is lit as carefully as it's planted — low-voltage, zoned and controllable, so the space you spent money on is still there in November at six o'clock.
What we're usually asked for.
Patios & Paving
Porcelain, sandstone and granite terraces laid on full mortar beds, with the falls and drainage set correctly.
Pergolas & Structures
Louvred aluminium and oak pergolas, cabanas and garden rooms — shelter that gets used year-round.
Outdoor Kitchens
Masonry-built and modular islands with the power, water and drainage run before the paving goes down.
Kitchens
Designed, supplied and fitted — services moved, walls opened, finished to the skirting.
Bathrooms & Wet Rooms
Taken back to the joists, properly tanked and ventilated, then finished the way it was drawn.
Extensions
Single and double storey, side-return and wrap-around — with building control managed for you.
One quote, fixed
Priced properly and itemised before we start. No day-rate creep, no surprise extras at week six.
Our own teams
The people who quote your job build it. We don't sub the work out and disappear.
Drawings first
You approve a plan and a planting or finishes schedule, not a description over the phone.
Aftercare
Guaranteed workmanship, and optional maintenance on every garden we build.
Swansea, Gower and South West Wales.
Our core patch runs from the Uplands out across the peninsula. If you're just outside the list, ask anyway — we travel for the right project.
Garden Design
A proper scheme before anything is dug: survey, concept plan, levels, materials and a planting schedule you can actually read.
Patios & Paving
Porcelain, Indian sandstone, granite, block paving and resin driveways — laid to fall away from the house and stay flat.
Decking & Terraces
Composite and hardwood, framed properly and ventilated underneath. Raised decks, multi-level terraces and balustrades.
Pergolas & Gazebos
Louvred aluminium, oak and softwood structures, garden rooms and covered seating with lighting and heating built in.
Outdoor Kitchens
Built-in masonry or modular islands, granite and porcelain worktops, BBQs and pizza ovens, fully serviced.
Garden Lighting
Designed low-voltage schemes rather than scattered spikes — zoned, timed and controllable from your phone.
Planting & Borders
Planted for the aspect, the soil and the coastal wind — and chosen so the garden still looks like something in February.
Garden Walls & Steps
Retaining and decorative walling engineered where it is holding back ground — brick, block, sleeper and Welsh stone, with steps and level changes.

Got a garden that doesn't work?

Planning something structural?
Send us the rough idea. We'll tell you honestly whether it works, what it needs, and roughly what it costs — before you spend anything.
Consultation & site visit
We come out, look at the property properly, and talk through what you're actually trying to achieve — not just what you've asked for.
- Measured survey and photographs
- Levels, drainage and access assessed
- An honest steer on budget before you commit
- Planning or building regs flagged early
Design & drawings
You get something to look at and mark up — plans, layouts, materials and finishes — and we revise it until it's right.
- Scaled plans and elevations
- Planting or finishes schedules
- Materials and samples to handle
- Revisions included, not charged per round
Fixed written quote
A full schedule of works with the price fixed against it, plus a realistic programme. If something genuinely changes, it's agreed in writing before it's done.
- Line-by-line breakdown, not a single figure
- Programme with key dates and stages
- Payments tied to completed stages
- Insurance and guarantee documentation
Build
Directly employed teams, one named contact, and the site left clean at the end of every day. You'll know who is on site tomorrow.
- Weekly progress update and photographs
- Coordinated trades with no gaps between them
- Waste managed and removed, access kept clear
- Building control inspections arranged
Handover & aftercare
We walk the job with you, snag it together, and hand over everything you need. Then we're still here when something needs looking at.
- Joint snagging list, cleared before final payment
- Certificates, warranties and sign-off documents
- Care guidance for planting, timber and finishes
- Optional ongoing maintenance schedule
One contractor, both sides of the door.
Most building firms stop at the back wall, and most landscapers won't touch anything structural. That gap is where projects go wrong — a terrace laid to the wrong level against a new bi-fold, drainage nobody took responsibility for, two contractors blaming each other while you pay for both.
We built Envisage to close it. The same company designs your extension and the terrace it opens onto, and the same site manager is accountable for how the two meet.
We quote what a job actually costs, in writing, itemised, before we start — and we'd rather lose a job on price than win it on an underestimate and claw it back in variations. Our teams are directly employed, so the person who walks your site at the quote stage is the person you'll deal with on week six.
